Katrina

Well, to my parochial shame, I'm even slower responding to Katrina than President Bush!

But I read this series of posts at St Casserole's, and suddenly the whole thing became more immediate.

I don't know how to respond: shock at the immensity of it all, anger at the poor who got left behind and now, as usual, suffer the most or bemused as to why this sort of thing happens.

I blogged about the Tsunami here, but somehow ... right now ... clever words and so called insight just seem cheap, maybe I'm learning?  I think that I'll go and be silent now
